NIE Declassification September 27, 2006

President Bush called the reporter’s /Democrat’s move for what it was, and has ordered the NIE document declassified to show how wrong the Iraq is making us less safe from terrorists argument is. You can watch him telling the reporters, or read what he said–It’s a pretty saliant little speech. President Karzai had some pretty strong points too.
Engram analyzes some of the arguments surrounding the speech and it’s release. Iraq has made us more safe if you’re going by the argument that our safety is related to how angry the muslim world is at us.
