NIE Followup September 27, 2006

Well, the NIE report has been declassified, and the NY Times once again has egg on it’s face, as the report definitely supports much of what the pro-Iraq people have been saying. Once again the media tried to swing an election with a leak and it has backfired, although that hasn’t stopped some reporters from still trying to claim victory. As you can imagine, the pundits have been all over this.
Meanwhile, I ask: How could Iraq be hurting our efforts to fight terrorists if we keep on catching big name terrorists out there? (link is to yet another one we’ve snagged).
