Power Line is covering the spin Obama’s trying to put out in response, but Kaus explains that its always hard to spin something when the bluster is that you said what you think. Hot Air is going through the offensive statements one at a time and pointing out just how bad they all are.

The statement was damaging – and in this case, Kaus is right – it is hard to explain away what you really think.
