Just do the math for yourself. Meanwhile, while Obama takes the typical populist stance against oil companies, why don’t you consider the relative windfall profits of other industries? Heck, for that matter, Congress earns at least four times as much as any of the oil companies for every gallon of gas filled…

McCain was indeed late on the pro-energy bandwagon. He’s also not so good on border security, and only so-so on the economy. However, in nearly every way, Obama is worse. Obama’s only ever introduced one piece of legislation and rarely votes on anything (other than a present vote). Also, that stimulus package you support is nothing more than government redistribution of income, paid for at your expense. If you really want to stimulate the economy, lower and simplify taxes. If you instead want to dampen the economy, go for the Democrat’s plans to remove the Bush tax cuts.
Off course drilling is better than inflating tires, though i think this is more about inflating Obama’s ego.
