LA is going to make home improvement stores build shelters, complete with restroom facilities, drinking water, trash facilities, and tables for day laborers. That’s forcing private companies to increase their operating expense, which increases the prices they charge you, solely to pay for people, by far mostly illegal immigrants, to loiter around while waiting for work.
