And The Criticism of Palin Begins August 30, 2008

Everyone is talking about Sarah Palin as the VP pick. I’m incredibly amused that the Obama camp (and the media) is going after her for her lack of experienceshe’s got as much experience as Obama. In point of fact, she has more executive experience than any of the candidates. I suppose it does mean that McCain can’t nail Obama quite as hard on the experience issue, but Palin is going for vice-president, not president, as Obama is doing.

Of course, it’s not just Palin’s experience they’re going after. The left is also smearing Palin by not telling the whole truth on statements she’s said about creationism, and neglecting to mention some of the factors involved in a state trooper her administration fired.

And now the Obama campaign is waffling on its previous criticism.

Actually though, these smears bring up the main criticism I do have with the choice: Does she have any surprises that the media will spring on us? As a political unknown its quite possible for her to get hammered on some of the same issues that have been dogging Obama – except that the media won’t conveniently choose to ignore the scandals.

I’m very exciited, and couldn’t be happier that McCain chose Palin!
