I think I can agree that the singularity will go mainstream in that businessmen will increasingly need to start planning around the possibility that society will begin undergoing frequent, relatively massive changes (from an investing environment view), similar to what was happening in Rainbows End. Even if we don’t have any of the big breakthroughs that people normally think of when discussing the singularity.
