Watch this trailer, for a remake of a series called V, about an alien species spreading “Hope” and “Change” as the guise for a takeover of earth.
While I seriously doubt that ABC would ever do anything intentionally critical of Obama, it’s no coincidence that the political rapture people are experiencing in the presence of the aliens looks so similar to the political rapture Obama’s worshippers exhibited. The original series, after all, while it exhibited a sci-fi twist with aliens, was about the political tactics of fascism. Like it or not, Obama, and pretty much the rest of the Democratic party, are a fascist political party. Now, that doesn’t mean that they’re the racist, genocidal fascists the nazi party was, but it does mean that they use similar political tactics that other fascists, including, but not limited to, the nazis, used to gain power democratically. It also doesn’t mean that Obama has any intention of seizing power as a tyrant, the way some other fascists throughout history have. However, just as with all officials given any power, he does bear watching, and opposing whenever he tries to step out of line.
