Yes, it’s illegal. And remember how outraged the left was when they found out that Bush authorized terrorist wiretaps if one end was overseas?

From the Japanese: Touchable holograms.
Apparently they only want some communities to organize. Others need to be disrupted, slandered, spied upon, and attacked. More here.
To all of the people who claimed Bush was trying to set up a police state: can you honestly name a single person who wasn’t a terrorist who’s constitutional rights weren’t upheld who suffered under Bush’s policies or because they exercised their free speech rights? We’re not even past Obama’s second 100 days of his term and we’re seeing much more resemblance to a police state than anything Bush ever did.
All of that money we gave to Fannie Mae to straighten itself out?
Break it up already! If something is too big to fail, it’s too big to exist. But of course instead we’ll be treated to Barney Frank and the other Dems continuing to protect their social engineering project disguised as a company.
Did you know that one of the largest book-bannings in U.S. history was passed by the Democrat led congress last year?
But don’t worry, it was all for the sake of keeping our children safe.
As you may have noticed, there have been quite a few protesters recently, concerned about all of the spending, and about the Democrat led initiatives to seize control over huge portions of the economy.
Now, while I could analyze the differences in the way the protesters behaved between now and the previous administration (there are a lot fewer signs comparing the president in office to Hitler or the devil, for instance), what’s more interesting is the difference in the responses of how the protesters are being portrayed by the media, and by those in office.
While I could give link after link, three are enough to carry my main point fairly well. And of course there’s Obama’s request to report anyone who opposes Obamacare to the White House and the Dem’s requests to the unions to directly engage anyone who meets the same qualifications.
Do you still think the media is even remotely balanced? And which party do you think actually has a mature, adult-like response that’s in accordance with American traditions of free speech and tolerance? And which party is behaving more and more everyday like the old 1930s fascists they borrow their “Progressive” label from?
We can only wish they stuck to remotely similar standards.
And good riddance to him. Now we’ve just got the rest of them to deal with
More of the same sort of anti-Semites he’s been associating with all his life.
Heck, maybe that’s why he’s honoring her.
Waiting for the cops to show up for the Brink’s home security alarm that goes off, or reaching in your pocket?
And which would you rather wait through in an emergency?
Well, maybe in America, but in Europe or Israel?
Iran now has the ability to join the nuclear club. Meanwhile, Obama is recognizing Ahmadenijad as the elected leader of the Iranian people.
So why should the media do anything critical of the President?
Remember when the media savaged George Bush Sr. for raising taxes even though he promised during his campaign not to? And yet Obama made some pretty similar promises, and is breaking them in a whole multitude of ways…
Or what about the obsession with the younger Bush’s records, from his service, school, you name it…to the point where they were even willing to completely forge documents that were complete lies but “fit the narrative”? Funny how they’re doesn’t seem to be any rush to investigate anything about Obama’s past, isn’t it?
Or how about Obama’s double speak on abortion? By his actions, he’s probably the most pro-abortion president we’ve ever had – and yet during campaigning abortion was “above his pay grade”, and he’s been promising everyone, including the pope (directly to his face!) that he’s trying to reduce abortions.
Hmm, or all those promises of transparency?
Let’s MOVE THE ENTIRE PLANET to solve a problem that’s been so overhyped with politics that it’s entirely ignored the actual scientific debate, which is nowhere near settled – and strongly agrees that we don’t know nearly enough about what’s going on.
Especially when the solar scientists have accurately predicted that the warmth of the previous years was due to the sun and the coolness of the current years is also expected, while the global warming community has utterly failed to predict the weather we’re currently experiencing.
Meanwhile, if AGW really is a problem, what’s the solution? More freedom and economic growth – even in industries that would seem against the environment – which is exactly the opposite of what Cap-and-Trade and other liberal suggestions aim to achieve.
I just want everybody who harps on about how awful the Israelis are, and how oppressed and innocent and pure the Palestinians are to take a good look at the sort of scum they’re throwing in with:
And where’s the sound of protest from all of the liberal feminist groups across western civilization? I’ll be overwhelmed from their responses if I hear a single peep of protest. Instead, they’ll probably find another chain like Trader Joe’s to boycott for selling Israeli products. And that in a nutshell is why I think that all of the liberal human rights groups…aren’t, and are pathetic and corrupt sellouts who spend more of their time supporting the very travesties they claim to protest than not.
As often as it happens, I’ll still never understand it. Why are Democrats and reporters so careful to cover and hide Democratic corruption? Are those really the behaviors they believe government should have? If not, then why cover for them? If they’re not just as guilty of similar behaviors, the act of blocking investigations implicates them just as much.
If I was a ranking member of Congress – either party – and a fellow member of my political party was even suspected of some sort of corrupt behavior, I would be among the first to support a full investigation. If he’s innocent, fine, he shouldn’t bear any penalty, but if he’s guilty I say one strike and he’s out. It’s not like there aren’t plenty of other worthy citizens who could take his place.
Comedian’s favorite organ suddenly isn’t quite so useless.
How could anyone criticize the president in such a way? I mean, it’s fine to wish for Bush’s death, make movies about it and all, or even dress him up as the Joker…but doing so about Obama–that’s racist!
Or, why so many liberals blame America for everything that is wrong. I know it almost sounds silly (which shows just how effectively it worked!), but yes, it was Soviet propaganda.
One of the basic tenets of libertarianism is that private institutions, facing competition and with no monopoly of citizenry locked in to support themselves, will function more efficiently than government. This is actually pretty simple to show, and there are dozens, if not hundreds or thousands, of examples. This also, however, applies to regulation, which is something that people increasingly expect the government to provide. I’ve been doing some thinking recently, and I have some questions I would like to pose to everyone who will listen: View full article »
Like anti-semitism. After all, he’s tolerated it for 20 years in church, why shouldn’t he tolerate it in his administration?
