Despite the media’s surprise at both the unemployment and inflation (Democrats are in charge, things must be getting better, right?), I am not surprised by either. With the amount of spending we’ve been doing, high levels of inflation seem inevitable, unless our politicians exercise some fiscal restraint (chances of that are slim). And unemployment is exactly expected when we have the worst corporate tax rates in the world and amazingly stupid and excessive regulation.
Cat food. It attracts ants that can kill the toads, but that native species can avoid.
This time it’s the Guinea worm. Good riddance!
Things like this are why I consider investing in clean water and such to be so much more important than global warming.
Gee, I’m sure glad we spent this: $57,362 per house to weatherize 9,100 homes across the country.
This stimulus is great stuff.
Washington State has had their Supreme Court rule that the Second Ammendment is incorporated. Now we just have to get the federal Courts to rule on the issue…

Obama is going to change the name of the military’s Iraq operations away from “Operation Iraqi Freedom”.
Remember, re-labeling things and claiming your predecessor’s victories as your own while blaming your failures as his is taking action!
I for one, am in the 61% category that think that government does not have my – or most other American’s, consent. Most of what the government does are programs that were implemented before my time, without my consent, that I have inherited. Along with the debt.
And yes, I’m angry about it.
The Democrats are already seeking to bypass Pay-Go.
