A few days ago I covered the hypocrisy of all of the left’s racism charges. The far more frightening, hypocritical, and offensive charges are all of the violence.Again and again, we see the media and Democrats discuss how much danger they’re in, how out of control things are getting, entirely without any evidence. Lies. All lies to discredit their opponents. And raise funds. They demand that Republicans condemn and apologize for these made-up attacks. They’re outraged that tea partiers are waving flags (although I can see how that would upset them). Legal threats against critics. It’s like being in Iraq. It reminds them of kristalnacht. And Timothy McVeigh. And the Weathermen – who they conveniently don’t want us to remember have connections to Obama. They’re frightened of the very same pitchforks Obama encouraged their side to bring – even though the right isn’t even bringing pitchforks, yet. They’ve even gotten the FBI and IRS to weigh in (there’s little danger, of course).
And what did we witness (or hear) during the entire Bush administration? Remember all of the assassination fantasies they went through? How much we heard the Democrats themselves encourage groups like Code Pink (which “doesn’t represent the left” – yeah, right…)?
Meanwhile, what do we see from the left, entirely ignored by the media? Death threats against Palin. Tea Partiers can “drop dead”. Bricks thrown through GOP offices In Missouri. And Virginia. And Ohio. And Michigan. Code Pink shutting down book signings by assaulting Karl Rove. Democratic Congressional Representatives disrupting meetings. Fingers bitten off of 65 year old men. Militia members who are active Democrats (but the media claims are right wing). Democratic State Operatives throwing eggs at Tea Party buses. Union attacks against tea party protesters- all over – and from Dem officials. Attempted firebombings. FBI charges brought to bear against leftists for death threats against GOP Reps. Police arrests for death threats against GOP Reps. Tactics of infiltration, slander, dishonesty, and intimidation. “We know who you are. We know where you live. We know where you work.” A GOP Official and her boyfriend were beaten, bones broken, likely by a political mob of counter-protesters. A single SEIU protest leading to 25 more people arrested than 1000 tea-party protests.
When there’s real political violence, the media ignores it.
I’m not sure what’s going to happen to Democrats, and our country. But I know the media is dying a slow death thanks in large part to their behavior over the past decade, which has only been worse the past two years. And I say good riddance.
