He’s offended that McChrystal and staff have such a low opinion of him? Well, what did he think it was going to be? How many months was he president before he even bothered to meet with the general? (10, by the way)
Of course, lets also look at some of the other media and Obama hypocrisy surrounding this incident.
He’s only accepted help from 5 of the 28 countries that have offered. And he’s only got 20 of America’s fleet of 2,000 oil skimmer boats in the gulf.
That right there is the textbook definition of mismanagement, unless he’s doing that to push for a stop to drilling and cap and trade – in which case it’s more sinister.
Free Trade, and embracing technologies rather than romanticizing primitiveness. And that’s why I disagree with the environmental movement so much. The largest percent of them are socialists/wealth redistributionists in disguise.
And keep that study in mind next time you hear Democrats talk about doing something for the environment.

Just like with Katrina, we’re seeing just how badly large public bureaucracies like our own government are at dealing not only with unexpected problems, but with unexpected help, as well. Both the British and the Dutch governments offered to help within days after the explosion, and the government turned them down. Private industry has made available miles and miles of oil boom, and it’s just been sitting in a warehouse in Maine for 4 weeks, while the coast guard admiral pretends he didn’t know about it even though he was informed May 21st.
Oh, and you better believe the White House is making things more difficult as well. This is why large government DOES NOT WORK.
