If we don’t drill of our waters, others will. And in deeper water than BP was in, too. So it’s just a matter of who we want getting the oil, and the money – and who we want regulating things.
In other words, not allowing drilling is just stupid.

And it’s at a nearby star, too! Unfortunately, it doesn’t transit its star, so actually detecting life will be kind of difficult.
Sharks, and Stephen Colbert. Because apparently there’s nothing more urgent for them to be doing.
Or other prominent politicians they disagree with? Sarah Palin has had to seek an emergency restraining order against one Pennsylvania man.
It was a massive military victory, except in the Media, and especially the New York Times. And to the Democrats who painted it a loss for political gain.
We already knew this, but it needs to be repeated as often as possible, until the public consciousness gets it, and the history books reflect it.
I don’t know, just taking a historical view of things, eventually someone always comes up with the new paradigm that accounts for all the discrepancies.
Besides bedbugs coming back: Chikungunya.
It looks like a lot of the leaks are released according to the whims of the leader of the organization, Julian Assange. And those under him don’t appreciate their lack of input in the decision making process, or the decisions he’s made.
That, my readers, is abortion defined as a positive liberty. If you define something as a positive liberty, you’re saying that it’s the responsibility of society to make sure everyone has or can have that right – which means it’s the responsibility of the rest of society to pay for it. Democrats have been trying to define not just abortion but education, jobs, health care, and just about everything else under the sun as positive liberties. Define enough of them and eventually you end up with a broken society.
A negative liberty, on the other hand, just says that nobody has the right to stop you from doing something. And defining something as a negative liberty costs society nothing.
For all that the left goes on about how they’re more open to social liberties than the right, they insist on defining everything as positive liberties, and that enslaves us all.
It should include class as well as race.
And inciting class hatred, as the left loves to do, can have the same results as inciting race hatred.
As Michael Graham says, when it comes to “weapons” and schools, the liberal strategy is “Stupid on purpose”.
It is amazing to me how much of the left spends its time and efforts stalking Bristol Palin.
Hey, at least he’s got the dignity to do that. I think there are camera shots of American politicians viewing porn in the Senate and House, and they don’t seem to care at all. Then again, that’s probably the smallest thing they should be ashamed of regarding their current behavior…
I would like this. Many, I imagine, would not.
A Swedish political party has entered the Swedish elections on a platform of concern about Immigration, Multiculturalism, and Islamofascism. Notice the reaction they’ve received from the establishment Left in Sweden: villianization as racists, Fascists, and Nazis, with radically left individuals carrying out violence, electoral fraud, death threats, and even murder attempts against members of this party – while the media leaves all of this unmentioned.
Sounds amazingly similar to what goes on here in the U.S., doesn’t it?
And the Tea Party supporters are winning primaries. Excellent. No other single piece of legislation would do more to return power in this country from the government back to the people. And nothing else would do more to turn around our economy and ensure economic success, either. Those two facts, by the way, are highly correlated.
I am an ardent supporter of the FairTax, and will gladly help explain it to anyone who has any questions about the issues.
