When you stop government from funding them. Taking away their public financing is oppression!
It’s a complicated situation, and there are a lot of different aspects. View full article »
Liberals have been launching a “centrist” political movement in wake of the massive success of the tea party – except that of course they’re not centrist.
Oh, and they also shamelessly steal art for themselves.
There are simple explanations for why we have such unacceptably low levels of black success in this country. You just have to be willing to discuss reasons that the feminist movement won’t accept. And be willing to toss multicultural “all cultures are equal” mentalities out.
And the left won’t let us do that in national discourse, which means that blacks will continue to fail.
To compete against their two best previous champions. It’s a pretty impressive feat of NLP and AI.
If we had a loser pays system, like the rest of the world, we wouldn’t need these countersuits. And I suspect the trolls would disappear, as well.
And the mess they’re in: Their budget gap may reach $28 Billion over the next 18 months. They borrow $40 million a day to pay unemployment. They’ve got an absurd laundry list of state agencies, and politicians who are beholden to unions that won’t accept less spending or pay cuts and are just now realizing that the budget is actually in trouble. And the population just confirmed that they like the way things are being run. While California seems to be the leader in this trend, the same factors are similarly true for pretty much the rest of the blue states.
It really is astonishing to me how religiously devoted the left is to their politics that they can deny that their policies are problematic in the face of such systematic failure.
NextBigFuture has a list of all the astonishing things Stuxnet did. Some intelligence agency somewhere made this, as a full scale wartime offensive against the Iranian nuclear program. Kudos to them, although it’s somewhat frightening to think about what a similar effort against some of our systems could accomplish. You also have to wonder if there’s any connection to the assassination of Iran’s nuclear scientists. Mossad’s probably top on the list for suspects there, but there are plenty of other countries who don’t want to see Iran’s nuclear capabilities advanced.
While this was an attack against Iran, Iran itself is no stranger to cybernetic warfare, as they’ve admitted to renting botnets before.
While we’re on the subject of Iran’s nuclear program, it’s worth noting that Iran already has missiles capable of reaching most of Europe, and wikileaks has revealed that they’ve been on a global arms hunt, while the Obama administration twiddles its thumbs and continues to focus solely on Israel as the problem for the entire middle east.
Los Angeles is banning fast food restaurants. They claim it’s not about controlling what people eat, but it pretty blatantly is.
Meanwhile, the Senate’s food safety bill just got killed.
Because of Senate shenanigans. I suspect Reid prefers to leave it as an open issue, so that Democrats can continue to get the LGBT vote.
While I appreciate Republicans saying they’re not going to vote on anything until the tax issue is solved, it’s frustrating that this is more fuel to the “conservatives are racist/homophobe” fire. Honestly, Republicans should have just voted to get rid of it once and for all.
