Good, we could use as much as we can get to help our economy. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could also drill in all the other locations where we have massive oil deposits?
The NEA is facing a budget shortfall. What’s their answer? Double member’s contribution to political and media funds, of course!
This is why unions are less than useless in our society. They’re not at all about finding innovations that to improve the workings of our society – instead they’re about using political power to siphon funds from the rest of us, many of whom are working to find those very same innovations.
From the get go. How many people are surprised?
I think this highlights a lot of what they don’t understand:
It’s been a great week for watching media and political hypocrisy from the left. While the media of course blatantly ignores the violence of the left, trumps up threats from the right (or makes them up entirely), and slanders those who expose lefty violence, here’s what we’ve actually seen:
- Cops lit on fire
- GOP Candidates knocked to the ground
- Conservative women struck
- Democrat Representatives calling for things to “get a little bloody”, and then of course attempting to cover after the fact.
- Racial harassment of black conservatives
- Violence against elderly conservatives
- Threats and spitting
- Sexual threats against young conservatives for handing out copies of the constitution
- Violence in Sacramento
- Threats of branding from Governors
- Foaming at the mouth
- Threats against citizen journalists
As if all of that wasn’t enough to convince you, when the media actually attempts to argue that they’re representing democracy and liberty that the right is attempting to oppress, the arguments are laughably false.
Globalization, ultimately, is behind much of the current crisis. The unions think America is in a race to the bottom, and are attempting to carve out as much of the pie for themselves. Tea partiers and those opposed to the unions realize that it’s not a race to the bottom, it’s a race for efficiency. The regulations and government protections that unions are looking for are exactly the thing that stand in the way of the innovation that can keep America, and everyone, thriving.
Where I may differ from the author is that I believe that while these issues are more clearly highlighted today, I don’t think there ever was a time where they were not true.
The most dangerous place for African-Americans is in the womb.
Mention that though, or even be near someone or something that points that out, and the left will threaten you. Even if you’re not necessarily against abortion. They’re not pro-choice, they’re pro-abortion.
Those two governments are taking preemptive actions against any possible revolutions.
A list compiled by Nick Gillespie. Now we know why the left hates them so much.
