First off, an excellent webcomic xkcd actually does a pretty good job of putting radiation exposure into perspective – and reminding readers that the real tragedy is the earthquake and tsunami, which tens of thousands have been affected by. Candles kill more people than radiation.
Also, for everyone panicking, please stop taking those potassium iodide tablets. You’re doing more harm to your health than good.
