Ground zero mosque is holding a fundraiser on 9/11.

What’s the real nightmare scenario for the U.S.?

A repeat of the New Madrid quake of 1811. And we’re woefully unprepared for it.

Neat! It’s a project that I can imagine a lot of wealth arising from.

Now they’re loading their shells with phosphorous. Israel has responded by graciously re-opening the Gaza crossing.

Of course, none of this matters to antisemitic lefties who are insistent on hating Israel and anyone who even mentions it in a neutral manner – like Katy Perry.

Score one victory for the libertarians.

Marxism: The Most Murderous Faith

It’s worth remembering that in addition to being a just wrong economic idea, Marxism is the most bloody concept we’ve seen on this planet, and its supporters are entirely to cavalier about the killings that they support in seeking their utopia.

And it always starts by them pointing out which people they don’t want in society, whether it’s climate-change-deniers, rich people, Jews, or just everyone’s children but their own.

Obama himself, of course.

Being too weak to carry around a whole cop with them all the time.

They won’t let police contact ICE when they catch people in crimes whom they suspect to be illegal immigrants, and so we get repeat offenders who kill law abiding citizens.

Slandering Thatcher With Lies

Meryl Streep is making a film that slanders the historical record of Margaret Thatcher.

Ryan Stays Out

Good – he doesn’t have any executive experience, and we need him in Congress anyway. Although I do think he’d make a good veep, or perhaps a cabinet position.

A constant meme from the left is that all of America’s financial problems will just disappear if we tax the rich all the way to poverty level. As is constantly worth reiterating, this will not work, for very simple reasons:

  1. Even if we take all of the money of all of America’s wealthy, we would barely dent our debt, and only affect this year’s deficit by 12%. And we already have the wealthy paying most of our country’s taxes.
  2. When you make it financially painful to be wealthy, people stop being wealthy. Or they move away.

Of course, the real reason the left is obsessed with this theme of taxation has more to do with wealth envy and socialist ideals than anything else – as you can constantly see by their language. And people know, just with common sense, that socialist schemes don’t work out – which is why we see increasingly Orwellian language used to describe Democrats’ ideals.

The real solution, of course, is capitalism. Unfetter our businesses, let them run without inane government controls, and watch as we raise a new generation of wealthy taxpayers – whom we encourage by letting them keep most of the wealth that they’ve created and earned.

Sounds like a great idea to me!

The number one date-rape drug is probably just alcohol though. And I doubt most taking alcohol aren’t aware of its presence.

Reviewing The ATF Scandal

What did the White House know, and when? Because they knew something.

Also, the Feds were apparently handling drugs the same way the ATF was handling guns. And the DEA was involved in Gunwalker.

And the death toll has now risen to 53.

While the families of slain agents are not being granted victim status, whistleblowers are complaining that the officials involved are being shielded. Or promoted.

It’s a couple weeks old, but still interesting, easy-to-have-missed news.

The Ban Kids Movement

Think it’s related to the trend against disciplining kids?

Excellent!

Yes, it really is this easy

Summarizing The Verizon Strike

In a time when the rest of the country is thankful just to have a job, the Verizon unions decided that being asked to help foot any more of their healthcare costs was worth striking over, complete with vandalization, feces throwing, harassment of non-union workers even at customers’ homes, and harassment of the stores and company. The good news is that they failed.

So once again we’ve seen union violence and intimidation on display, along with a full demonstration of just how little unions actually care for the middle class and the common man. And just how worthless the union process is for society. It’s time to end collective bargaining.

Which has some interesting ramifications.

The French people had better figure out what the future of France is going to look like culturally, before it’s decided for them.
