With the Operation Fast and Furious plan to blame Mexico’s drug violence on U.S. guns that need to be banned backfiring, is it any surprise that there’s a backup plan? He’s trying to bring the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty to the U.S., which would severely restrict guns in America.
I’ll let you draw the conclusions about how Obama feels about Christianity from the fact that he opposes including Roosevelt’s D-Day prayer at the WWII memorial.
Aww, that’s too bad. They’re blatantly antisemitic, and even though Obama wants to keep on funding them, the legislation to cut their funding off was already in place. That makes me feel just terribly warm and fuzzy.
And I’m all for seeing the department eliminated, or at least drastically revised. And GOP lawmakers should run on that as part of their platform for election or re-election.
Interesting. This is something I expect Democrats to fight tooth and nail on in the Senate and White House, though.
What else is new? Heck, Democrats don’t just oppose a balanced budget amendment, they oppose a budget at all – which is why they didn’t pass one even when they controlled pretty much everything for two years, and could force legislation down our throats. And they’re so opposed to even cutting back increases in spending (that’s right, not cutting back spending, but cutting back increases in spending) that they’re willing to go to the mats and shut down government.
As long as they blatantly admit it. The NY Times journalist caught in the occupy movement has actually come out and realized that she should stop trying to throw airs of journalistic objectivity. Good for her. Now there’s just, well, pretty much the entire rest of the media.
Postal workers who poop in people’s yards, and steal cell phones to take pictures of their genitals. And who the post office does not fire when those incidents occur.
Obama decided he would delay his decision (which would almost certainly be a rejection, since he’s been directly against every other way Americans can generate jobs and energy independence) until after the election. Now Canada’s PM Harper has told Obama that the oil will be going to Asia, since we’re not letting it come here. Oh, and that we’ve just lost another 20,000 potential jobs as a result.
Several states are losing electoral power because not only did we count illegal aliens in the census, we included them as eligible voters when assigning House seats. The result is that states with large numbers of illegal aliens have been given more electoral power for their voters.
