Somehow, this behavior doesn’t surprise me in the least. Shame on Slate, and all of their voters/readers.

Good. We all knew he was corrupt, I’m glad to see that he’ll go down in the history books as such

Talk about rumormongering.

Announce sudden tests that all the students have to take right when they want to protest.

The ERRP program, to give money to seniors wasn’t supposed to go bankrupt until 2014, after the election. Oops. A pity that all these government programs always cost more than projected, isn’t it?

The media ignores it.

Remember, they’re the smart ones, supposedly.

It turns out the islands have even more oil than previously thought – and now Argentina wants the islands even more, even though the Islanders themselves don’t want to belong to Argentina.

It’s not a good thing, doctors and patients will lose out, and it’s what the bureaucracy, especially after Obamacare, is trending us to.

Anecdotes Of Welfare Abuse

In Maine.

I want to roll the dice a little bit more in this situation toward subsidized housing.

I see that he’s just come back out on top in Iowa, according to Rasmussen. And the NRO is trying to say no to Gingrich and Perry (anybody but Romney)…while Intrade currently shows Romney with the nod at a 67% chance.

Why is he so electable again? The man has only ever won one race, in Massachusetts, and it was as much do to his opponent’s incompetent campaign as anything else. Do you honestly think Obama is going to run an incompetent campaign?

I’m not saying we should nominate Gingrich – but compared to Romney, Gingrich has a record as a master politician who’s actually trimmed government, reformed welfare, defeated socialized medicine plans, and balanced the budget. Romney has proudly stood by Romneycare, lost most of the political races he’s ever entered – and yet it’s Gingrich who’s being attacked by Glenn Beck while Romney gets the support of the NRO. Does this make sense to anyone?

For some reason, they don’t have any trouble celebrating Christmas.

Burt Rutan Teams Up With SpaceX

To launch rockets from flight. Nice.

As Instapundit points out, it’s just more of those imaginary job-creating millionaires creating jobs.

David Axelrod about Newt Gingrich:

The higher a monkey climbs on a pole the more you can see his butt.

And this is how the money gets paid out.

Trying to deal with the high cost of startups in America.

For cash and glory! Cool.

Butter costs $500 a pound in Norway.

Note that it’s purely the fault of the state. Without state enforcement, other producers would be able to import or create butter, and the price would drop.
