But its notable to see what they’re actually getting mad at: their chosen one isn’t doing so well against the bottom of the Republican’s ticket, and they’re angry at how well McCain is manipulating them, since they’d rather just play along with Obama’s campaign. Boohoo. Maybe this election season will finally display the MSM meltdown that’s been increasingly immenant throughout the Bush years, and then we can finally have a press that acts like the mature adults America deserves.
I also think the MSM has done a horrific job since Bush and his cronies started pushing them around. The whole fact that we got involved in the Iraq war underfalse pretenses is enough evidence of that.
I don’t think they are playing with Obama’s campaign however. I think they did a pretty good job beating him up over the last 19 months or so with all the rumors and innuendos that they drudged up.
I think they need to get back to their roots of being fair and balanced and leave the opinion slinging to us bloggers.
Thanks for writing about the importance of the media!
You really don’t think they’re playing along with Obama’s campaign? Do you know how much remains to be discovered about Obama’s previous associations, all the documents that we know exist and yet haven’t been dug up? And then there’s all of the questions of experience and such that the media is trying to dig up about Palin, when any of the same questions to Obama would leave him giving his usual “uhhh” responses.
And Bush has nothing to do with the MSM’s horrific job. They’ve been pitching for the Dems since at least ’94. Its only been in the past 8 years that they’ve become utterly unhinged as they get obsessed with the same BDS that so much of the rest of the left has.
