He wouldn’t be the only Democratic Senator this term who has tried such a thing.
Update: It looks like we have confirmation from Obama’s Campaign that this did take place.
Update 2: At least one source is claiming that Obama was talking about a certain legislative bill, which would have been okay.

Anyone who believes that Barrack O’Bama is not a liberal socialist with his own personal agenda for the future of America is being blinded by the reflection of the sun off the water of the government trough they’ve been drinking from for far too long.
