Bush wasn’t the source of all that was wrong in the world, in fact, his policies are starting to look pretty reasonable, aren’t they?
While that sort of naivety is perhaps the simplest explanation for Obama’s foreign policy stance, I don’t think his governing style as a whole, especially domestically, is quite so innocent. With our unemployment rate approaching Europe’s, our debt and potential inflation skyrocketing, and still our economy continues to plummet, Obama and the Democrats in congress are still focusing on policies that all empirical evidence show will only hurt the economy further…or that everyone knows won’t fix any problems that are going to occur for probably a hundred years…No, that sort of policy is not innocent.

For domestic policy?
Some quick examples: there are large amounts of empirical evidence that show that lowering and simplifying tax rates would create large amounts of growth. Instead, Democrats continue to use tax policy as a means of rewarding certain political factions and punishing others. Or you could look at healthcare, where the universal healthcare systems they’re advocating simply don’t work (medicare, *cough cough*), and they’re entirely in the pockets of the trial lawyers, who are responsible for what is probably the driving reason behind the soaring costs of medicine and treatment.
