So I didn’t blog about it on the exact anniversary, but this past week was the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. I barely understood it at the time, as I was young, but nowadays I’m much more in awe of the accomplishment. Anyhow, here’s some worthwhile posts on the subject, in no particular order:
- The Price Of Liberty Is Eternal Vigilance
- The Fall of the Wall
- Remembering The Victims Of Communism

Also, with all of this, it’s worth noting that Obama was the major world leader of a related country who not only couldn’t find the time to attend the event, but instead sent a video in which he talked about: himself – because that’s what’s important, right? Some are apologizing for our president’s behavior. I would as well, except that those who should be apologized to the most were some of his most ardent supporters. Ironic.
