- Biden is claiming he had zero knowledge of the raid beforehand. Except that we know from documents that the White House initiated the request for the documents in question.
- The Biden White House canceled Trump’s Executive Privilege claims over the documents. So they’re trying to claim that one President can re-classify the unclassified documents of a previous President? That is a dangerous and stupid precedent to set.
- Roger Stone has revealed that among the docs taken was his clemency document.
- The FBI seized Trump’s passports as well as documents that are supposed to be covered by executive privilege and attorney-client privilege. No mention of nuclear weapons.
- Obama had classified docs in the ~30 million pages he left office with. The National Archives did not care, and certainly he wasn’t raided by the FBI.
- Trump had been cooperating with the DOJ regarding document security requests since spring. And they could have asked for specific documents at any time and he would have cooperated and handed them over. And they visited the home without raiding it just a few weeks ago. And he’s still trying to lower the temperature. Which reveals the lie that there was any urgency to do this.
- The President has power, at any time, to declassify documents. And he had a standing order that all the documents he took home were declassified. And it had been certified two months ago that there were no classified documents at Mar-A-Lago.
- Trump’s attorneys have a breakdown of the unusuality/likely illegality of the warrant. And they wanted the security cameras off and refused to turn over the warrant.
- The FBI literally took cocktail napkins. I’m sure that will get them the dirt on Trump they’re looking for.
- The Feds still won’t reveal the affidavit behind the warrant.
- Merrick Garland has admitted he personally approved the warrant. Given that Trump withdrew his Supreme Court nomination, it certainly seems hard to count on the neutrality of the law here.
- The FBI unit involved in the raid previously ran the Russiagate operation.
- The documents removed supposedly included the Crossfire Hurricane documents on FBI misbehavior that we still haven’t seen, even though they were supposed to be made public. Which would mean this whole thing was over spygate, and CYA behavior from the FBI. And the FBI raid occurred one week after Trump’s latest court filing over Russiagate included mention of more documents related to the case that the FBI would previously have been unaware of.
- The judge who signed off on the warrant was a magistrate judge, an Obama donor and Epstein defense attorney, who shared woke content on social media, and who didn’t mind Lois Lerner losing 30,000 emails. And now the courts are hiding his personal webpage.
- Documents just surfaced that exonerate Trump from obstruction of justice – by the Justice Department’s own evaluation.
Matt Taibbi has been noticing how helpfully the media has been in coordinating with Intelligence agencies over all of this, and how quickly they’re trying to memory-hole the whole situation.
